Port Royal

Port Royal is a card-driven game of push-your-luck and set collection. Players take on the role of merchants and hirelings vying to build the most lucrative port. On a turn, you draw cards from a central deck, hoping to reveal ships, people, or expeditions. You can continue drawing, but if you reveal a second ship of the same color, you "bust" and lose all the cards from that draw. The cards you keep can be used to hire valuable characters with special abilities or to embark on expeditions, all of which earn you gold and victory points. The player who best manages their risk and builds the most profitable port wins.
