Patchwork

Patchwork is a two-player abstract strategy game about creating the most beautiful and high-scoring quilt. Players take turns collecting oddly shaped fabric patches and placing them on their individual 9x9 game board. Each patch costs a certain number of buttons (the game's currency and victory points) and takes a specific amount of time to place. The game's core puzzle is a trade-off: players must strategically choose which patch to take from the central display, balancing the cost in buttons and time to cover as much of their board as possible. The player who has the most buttons at the end of the game wins.
