Munchkin is a satirical dungeon-crawling card game that doesn't take itself too seriously. Players kick down doors, battle ridiculous monsters (like the Plutonium Dragon or the Gazebo), and backstab their "friends" to level up. The goal is to reach level 10 by any means necessary, often involving using powerful items, playing nasty curses on opponents, and begging for help (which usually comes with a price). Expect silly humor, constant rule-bending (arguing is part of the fun!), and a race to be the biggest, baddest munchkin in the dungeon.

FAQ - Munchkin

We collect all the questions you players have asked us and put them on this page so we can share the answers with everyone.

Generally, no. You can only play cards when specifically allowed, such as during your turn, when equipping items, or in response to certain events. Read the card carefully to see when you can use it.

You lose everything except your class, race (if any), and any cards that say they stay with you when you die. The other players loot your body, and you draw a new hand at the beginning of your next turn.

Combat involves adding your Level to any bonuses from Items and other cards you have played to get your combat strength. You then compare your combat strength to the monster's level (plus any bonuses). If your strength is higher, you win! If it's lower, you must either Run Away or ask another player for help.

Yes, but only during your turn and only for Items you have equipped (in play on the table). You cannot trade cards from your hand, and you cannot trade for promises or future favors.
