Fort is a deck-building game for 2-4 players about being the coolest kid on the block. You'll build your fort, recruit new friends (represented by cards), and collect toys and pizza. Each turn, you play a card to take actions, and unplayed friends might get jealous and join other forts! You want to have the most impressive fort and the most victory points by the game's end, showing everyone who's the top dog in the neighborhood.

We collect all the questions you players have asked us and put them on this page so we can share the answers with everyone.

You must discard the card. This is a key element of the game as unwanted cards become available to other players, creating interesting choices and potential for 'take that' moments.

You score points by having toys, pizza, and by improving your fort through various upgrades. The player with the most points at the end of the game wins.

When you play a card for its Public action, any other player can also perform that action by discarding a card of the matching suit. This creates an incentive for players to use actions beneficial to others, while also potentially giving those other players a leg up.

No, if you have to Recruit a card from the Yard, you must take one. If the Yard is empty, then nothing happens.
