If you draw an Exploding Kitten and don't have a Defuse card, you're out of the game! Discard all your cards.
Defuse cards allow you to avoid exploding when you draw an Exploding Kitten. You must immediately play a Defuse card and then secretly re-insert the Exploding Kitten back into the deck anywhere you choose.
